Returning to full-time work
After 2021 I wasn’t in a consistent full-time role. The honest reason is health: I needed time to recover. That period is behind me. I’m ready for a long-term backend or systems engineering commitment again.
I’m writing this publicly so the story is simple when someone lands on this site or gets a forward from a former colleague.
What I’m not optimizing for
I’m not optimizing for a perfect narrative or a volume content machine. I’m optimizing for clarity: what I do, what I’m good at, and how to start a conversation.
What I am optimizing for
- Roles where ownership is real—not ticket farms with no agency
- Teams that ship and debug in the open
- Work where modern tooling, including AI/LLMs, is used with judgment
- Relationships with people I’ve worked with before; goodwill is a real asset
What you’ll find here
This site is the leave-behind: About, Work, a short Writing archive, and Contact. I’ll fill in project detail over time. If we know each other and you’re open to an intro or a coffee chat, that helps more than any keyword list.
If you’re hiring: I care about hard problems, clean interfaces between systems, and being someone others can rely on when things break.
